\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n• Work on general medical surgical floor that also serves as stroke and neuro designated unit
\n• Patient ratios of 5:1
\n• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
\n• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit secretary at maximum capacity
\n• Work with remote tele equipment and Meditech EMR system
\n• BLS certification required
\n• NIH Stroke certification and ACLS preferred
\n• Navy scrubs required for dress code
\n• Ideal candidates should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
\n• Unit maintains 34 beds with maximum capacity of 43 patients
\n• Located on 2nd floor of main hospital building
