\n \n\n \nProvides didactic, lab, clinical training, instruction and functional education for all Surgical Services.
\n \n\n \nDevelops, implements and evaluates orientation for new employees; coordinates, assigns, monitors clinical rotations of orientees.
\n \n\n \nSupervises and Monitors Preceptor activities.
\n \n\n \nDevelops, implements and evaluates the Graduate Nurses in Surgical Services.
\n \n\n \nProvides continuing education and in-services determined by the needs of the staff/facility.
\n \n\n \nCoordinates preparation and implementation of department specific learning needs through ALN.
\n \n\n \nActs as a resource for staff educational opportunities.
\n \n\n \nGuides, directs, supervises and involves staff in developing educational programs.
\n \n\n \nCoordinates and conducts American Heart Association classes.
\n \n\n \nCoordinates ORNIP (Operating Room Nurse Intern Program), surgical Tech and RN student program.
\n \n\n \nCoordinates clinical rotations for school affiliations in healthcare programs.
\n \n\n \nServices as Liaison with pharmaceutical and product reps to provide ongoing education in new drugs and technology.
\n \n\n \nDemonstrates commitment to all department and corporate compliance policies.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
