SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for skilled Medical Device Assemblers!
Job Title : Medical Device Assembler
Job Location: Plymouth, MN, U.S.A. 55442
Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay: $ 18.75 - $ 19.25 depending on shift
Shift Structure: ONSITE, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week
- st shift: 10.5 hour shifts with various start times between 4:30am-5:15am
- nd shift: 10.5 hour shifts with various start times between 3:30pm-4:00pm
The role of the Medical Device Assembler:
- Produces high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools
- Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Maintain the organization, inventory levels, and the cleanliness of the device packaging area
- Performs a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry
- Follows safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations
- Utilizes the microscope to complete assembly inspections
About the Medical Device Assembler: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts as well as demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience working in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
