Job Description

Private Family on the UES of Manhattan is seeking a Live-in Nanny for their 2-year old daughter. Mom and dad work full-time outside of the home so you will have full responsibility of the 2-year old.

Position: Full-time Live-in Nanny
Schedule: 6 days a week (not always the same days but always weekend work)…Work hours are 8am – 7pm.
Salary: $125,000/year depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
The family prefers a local candidate who knows their way around Manhattan

A warm and welcoming private family located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NY is looking to hire a dedicated and professional Live-in Nanny to join their household. They value discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit.

• Children: One 2-year old daughter
• Home Size: 1,500 sq foot apartment
• Pets: One small friendly dog
• Household Staff: Driver and Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare, plan educational activities and be proactive, prepare light healthy meals and snacks for the child, take child to 1/2 day school (9am – 12 noon), put down for her afternoon nap, take to afternoon activities, make dinner and nighttime routine.
• Travel with the family domestically and internationally. Current passport required.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role in a private household
• Excellent references
• Legal to work in the United States
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with pets
• Willing to travel occasionally, if needed
