Junior Recruiter

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking junior recruiters for a corporate recruiting opportunity with one of our retail partners in Plano, TX. This is a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment that requires individuals who are eager to learn, thrive under pressure, and can meet hiring goals efficiently.

As an junior recruiter, you will work directly with the client to support high-volume, nationwide hiring needs for retail roles. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in candidate sourcing, screening, and recruitment operations while contributing to a high-performance recruiting team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the client to identify, source, and screen candidates for retail roles across the country.
• Conduct screening interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and job fit.
• Utilize ZipRecruiter and other sourcing tools to identify top talent and maintain a steady candidate pipeline.
• Review job descriptions and apply targeted sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule virtual interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Support new hire onboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed efficiently.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly recruiting metrics related to candidate outreach, interviews, and placements.
• Collaborate with internal sales and recruiting teams to fulfill hiring needs efficiently.
• Provide regular candidate updates and data-driven insights to the client and hiring managers.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online recruiting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Two to four years of experience in retail, customer service, call center, or hospitality industries (recruiting experience is a plus but not required).
