We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our team at a brand new facility at Sunset Hills Adult Medicine.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Medicine Physician with a strong background and/or training in outpatient medicine. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in establishing a patient rapport and building a new practice while collaborating with other practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient medical care, ensuring high-quality treatment for patients.
• Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers, fostering a team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Manage a patient panel of approximately 16 patients per day, including overseeing personal in-basket tasks and communications.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine

• Two-year guarantee of $270,000/year followed by a wRVU team-based compensation model.

Sunset Hills Adult Medicine specializes in Internal and Geriatric Medicine and is located in St. Louis County.

Role Purpose:

The physician will provide professional medical services within the specialty through direct patient care and perform related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, in-basket management, patient education, and collaborating with care team members.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the medical care of a patient panel, including hospital care arrangements through hospital rounds or hospitalist coverage, consistent with Medical Staff requirements.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes at designated clinic and outreach locations.
• Perform and document histories and physicals in the medical record as required by hospital bylaws.
• Provide or arrange for call coverage for clinic and inpatient care, following BJC policies and standards.
• Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers and support staff involved in patient care.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Education:

• Doctorate - Medicine

Experience:

• <2 years

Supervisor Experience:

• No experience required

Licenses & Certifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Licensed Physician

Preferred Experience:

• 2-5 years
