Job Description

Job Title: Document Controls Specialist

Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: Short-Term 3 Month Contract

We're seeking a detail-oriented Document Controls Specialist with a strong background in data processing, advanced Excel , and PowerBI to support Records Management initiatives. This role involves analyzing large datasets, maintaining document retention compliance, and collaborating with IT teams.

Key Skills:

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros)

• PowerBI & O365 proficiency

• Strong organizational & project tracking abilities

• Excellent communication across all management levels

• Confidentiality & problem-solving expertise

• IT systems knowledge related to records management

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain document retention schedules

• Communicate records policy to internal departments and IT teams

• Perform document classification and physical inventory reviews

• Analyze data and create actionable reports to support compliance

• Manage multiple projects independently
