Custodian (On-Call)

Draper, Inc. has an opening for an on-call part-time Custodian. This position will have cleaning responsibilities for both the office and factory. The schedule will fluctuate between days and nights and will be on an as needed basis, i.e., filling in for vacations and other types of absences. Work hours for day shift is usually sometime between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. For night shift, work hours are between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m. Working on weekends is also an option.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintaining housekeeping and supplies in restrooms, office areas, plant offices, and conference rooms. This includes vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors and stairs, emptying trash cans, taking appropriate items to recycling bins, dusting, cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, stall walls, tile floors, ceiling vents; restocking toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap; etc.
• Maintaining break areas which involves cleaning microwaves, refrigerators, and water fountains.
• Washing windows and doors.
• Assisting in special clean-up projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and products.
• Self-motivated, team player, strong time management and good attention to detail.
• Prior custodial experience.
• Availability to work days or nights and able to report to work on short notice.
