Electrical Systems Engineers are at the center of NNL's mission providing direct support for US Navy submarine and carrier classes. In this position, you will:
* Build on your Electrical/Computer engineering knowledge and develop strong Systems Engineering and troubleshooting skills
* Develop a deep understanding of the design and development of naval nuclear power plants and the functions of instrumentation and control systems to provide safe and reliable operation
* Interact directly with the US Navy's nuclear fleet to assess problems, provide emergent support, and develop and support training of sailors

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A.
