Overview A wonderful family in Boston is seeking a full-time nanny for their one-year-old child. This position is live-out, and the family is willing to help relocate a fantastic nanny. The hours are flexible and will be decided with the ideal candidate, but are generally Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week. The family is looking for an immediate start! Responsibilities Follow the baby’s daily routine (feeding, diaper changes, nap times, playtime). Prepare and feed bottles and solids as the baby develops Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities and outings Managining nursery supplies, and sorting/organizing clothes and toys. Collaborate with the family to develop and implement routines that support the baby's developmental needs and adjust as the baby grows. Pack for travel, and research and plan activities and outings in the location of travel Manage and replenish inventory of baby-related items, while performing light housekeeping tasks associated with the baby, including bottle cleaning, baby laundry, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of baby’s areas Travel with the family as needed, approximately 50% of the year to various locations including Los Angeles, and overseas Qualifications Previous experience as a full-time nanny to infant/toddler aged children Knowledge of developmental milestones as well as safe sleep and feeding practices Energetic, proactive, and committed Fully engaged and willing to get down on the floor with the child Adaptability- this position involves a dynamic schedule and extensive travel, and the candidate should be able to roll with the changes while maintaining structure and routing for the child Feel comfortable traveling domestically and internationally with family Team player- the family has other household staff and the nanny should enjoy working alongside others High profile experience would be a bonus! Requirements US work authorization Ability to travel domestically and internationally with the family Valid driver's license and clean driving record (a car is provided for work use) Flexibility, especially during travel Be able to read the room - know when to step up and step back when the family are having intimate family moments, and exhibit a level of sophistication when addressing the family’s friends and broader family Salary and Benefits $35-45/hr. or approximately 100k annually PTO Assistance with health insurance reimbursement for the right candidate #J-18808-Ljbffr British American Household Staffing
