Android Developer (Entry Level)

Description:

Our client , a $1.7 billion-dollar professional services company with approximately 30,000 employees, is looking to hire Android Developers who possess great innovative and analytical skills.
This opportunity includes a comprehensive 10-week online pre-employment training program (20 hours per week), conveniently scheduled after business hours.
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $1200 stipend.
This is a fantastic chance to gain in-demand skills, hands-on experience, and a pathway into a dynamic tech role.

Requirements:

Relocate to the job location.
Candidates should be able to commit to work a minimum of 15 months.
Nice to have: 0 to 1 year of experience in Android development using Android SDK.
Experience in designing and building enterprise applications for the Android platform.
Experience with Kotlin.
Experience with Gradle, JetPack Compose, bug fixing, and improving application performance.
Good to have experience with Apollo Client GraphQL.
Experience working with and connecting to APIs and other backend systems.
Experience collaborating with senior developers, project managers, and designers in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
Selection Process & Training: Technical interview by Quintrix and online assessment.
10 weeks of Android development pre-employment online instructor-led training.
Client Interview(s).
Stipend paid during training: $1250.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and not require any visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong foundation in OOPS concepts.
3.0 GPA or higher.
Ability to work with geographically distributed teams with diverse and complementary skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Should be able to commute.
